Matcha Rice Krispies Squares

Matcha Rice Krispies Squares, need I say more? You may have already guessed this about me but I'm a little bit obsessed with matcha. Ok, a lot obsessed. I will take any chance I get to incorporate it into my food.

I have made these babies five times now and they turn out perfectly each time. This is a foolproof recipe that's perfect for the summer since you won't even need to turn on your oven to make them. Let's get to it!

DIY - Two Layer Tealee Hand Scrub

First off Happy New Year! I'm so excited to start off the 2017 Tealee blog with this DIY project.

Recently I've been seeing a lot of DIY projects in mason jars including popular things you might have already come across on Pinterest. For example, the popular layered Pancake mix in a mason jar or a homemade hot chocolate mix, which I received as a gift over the Holidays. Taking these cute gift ideas and making it into my own personal project, I decided to create a two layered hand scrub to treat my skin. What's great about using tea in a hand scrub is that it acts as a natural exfoliate for your hands. Not only is it a great skincare item to have this winter season, it also...

'Tis the Season for Giving

It's that time of the year. You know what I'm talking about! When the Christmas lights get whipped out, the ugly Christmas sweater parties come out, the preparation for stuffed happy bellies and hibernation. The time of year filled with holiday spirit and the joy of receiving presents... plus my personal favorite, giving presents!

Nothing screams of holiday festivities like Tealee's O Christmas Tea made with white tea, elderberries, and a dash of cinnamon making this the perfect tea for this time of the month. And what better gift to give to your friends and family then a warm cup of holiday joy for Christmas.
There are so many ways to you could package the tea. It could be separated into mason jars as stocking stuffing, it could be the whole Tealee bag itself, or my personal favourite...

Fall Inspired Energy Boosting Recipe

Fall is the season of transition where we slowly start a new chapter for this new season. It's the time of the year when things slow down a bit, people start switching out their crop tops and shorts for cozy knit sweater and boots. For me, fall is the season where sometimes I get a bit overwhelmed with the start of the season changing and I lose a bit of motivation once the weather starts to cool off. It's the time of the year when my body just instinctively senses that winter is coming and I just lose desire to go outside to do things and just feel like curling up into a ball with my tea and watching...

Homemade Granola Meets Matcha Parfait

Like most of us do but shouldn’t, I skip out on breakfast a lot. I know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day (see mom, I listen!) but I just never seem to take the time to make myself breakfast. I was getting sick of cereal every day, making pancakes or french toast seems to take too much time, and I don’t like eggs so that just left me avoiding breakfast all together. Not okay!

Sami has been putting a lot of effort into creating healthy eating habits for himself this past month, which has inspired me to stop making excuses and find a healthy breakfast recipe that is easy to make. I grabbed a recipe book from my bookcase and...

Tea and Sandwich Pairings for Going Back to School!

Hey guys! So I know you have been seeing a lot of workshops hosted by Lisa through The Ottawa Tea Guild (which yes you should totally go check out!) and I found myself inspired by some of Lisa's awesome tea pairing workshops. I decided to take the time to put together a sandwich pairing tea blog post. I know that school is starting soon for many of you and although I'm a recent University Grad, I know how much the struggle is to stay healthy on a budget all the while thinking of appetizing things to bring for lunch. I'm hoping...
